Many protein powders have a distinct flavor, so I added a little cocoa powder to boost the chocolate flavor without adding calories. Protein powders are usually mixed with water (bland), milk, or almond milk. Coffee as the liquid adds flavor without calories. Plus, a little caffeine kick never hurts.
1 c. cold brew coffee
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1/2 tsp. cocoa powder
1 c. ice
Splash of milk or similar if desired.
Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
